Transmission

The A Series features a fully synchronised 12F+12R transmission equipped with mechanical forward-reverse shuttle. The transmission has three ranges, four main gears and includes creeper gears. Thanks to its straightforward design, the efficiency of the transmission and powertrain is exceptionally high.

An important optional feature is the HiShift button-operated clutch control, which allows the driver to operate the tractor without ever having to use the clutch pedal. HiShift increases driver comfort by saving the effort of having to depress the clutch pedal up to hundreds of times a day. (HiShift option not available in open cab models.)

The four-wheel-drive system is electro hydraulically activated, and four-wheel-breaking is automatically activated when braking or applying the parking brake. The differential lock can also be activated and deactivated at the flick of a switch.

Electro hydraulic activation of the PTO is available as an option. A mechanical switch is maintained for controlling emergency situations.
